Trust Center

Trust here is made of small, specific facts. We will never combine them into a single score that implies someone is safe, honest, solvent or suitable.

Verification never means a person is safe or trustworthy. Judge people by how they behave over time, take small steps before large ones, and stop if anything feels wrong.

What each verification fact means

Email confirmed

What it means

Someone controls that email address.

What it does not mean

Nothing about who they are or how they behave.

Phone confirmed

What it means

Someone controls that phone number.

What it does not mean

Not an identity check and not a background check.

Government ID checked

What it means

An identity document was reviewed by a verification provider.

What it does not mean

Not proof of honesty, solvency, safety or good intent.

Professional credential reviewed

What it means

A stated professional credential was checked with the relevant body.

What it does not mean

Not an endorsement of their advice, pricing or results.

Completed on-platform milestones

What it means

This person has finished shared steps with no unresolved safety flags.

What it does not mean

Not a prediction about how a new partnership will go.

Government ID and credential checks require a real verification provider. Where no check has actually happened, Bridge Forward shows the step as unavailable rather than claiming it.

Partnership safety rules

  • No money is ever required to establish a match.
  • Early trust is not built through loans, investments, property purchases, co-signing, marriage, employment promises or shared bank accounts.
  • Higher-stakes collaboration triggers a prompt to get independent professional advice.
  • Either person can pause, block, close or report without the other's permission.
  • Identity documents are never shared with other members.
  • Every moderation and verification action is recorded in an audit trail.

Pause, block, report

Inside any partnership, the safety menu is always visible. Pausing stops shared activity without ending anything. Blocking prevents further contact. Reporting sends the situation to a human moderator, and you never need the other person's agreement to do any of it.

Your data

Public profile information is stored separately from private account and verification data. Identity documents are never shown to other members and never returned to the app. Private fields — like financial capacity — are private by default and only you and a moderator reviewing a case can see them.
